Thanks to INSIDE EDITION

Where to break a book with it’s first national television exposure is always a major decision for any author and his publisher.  That debut appearance can either make or break a book that took years to write and then publish.  For “Jackie, Janet & Lee,” we chose “Inside Edition,” and for many reasons.  First of all, the show has been on the air for three decades and is one of the most respected of its kind.  (I have been appearing on it since 1989, if you can believe it!)  Also, it’s chief Los Angeles, correspondent, Jim Moret, has been a friend of mine for  years; we covered the Michael Jackson trial in Santa Maria together.  Plus, the team at Inside Edition is top-notch – all professionals who know how to break a big story.  So, I just want to say thanks to Jim and the Inside Edition crew  who did such a great job of introducing “Jackie, Janet & Lee” to the world, and helping it become my 15th New York Times’ bestseller.  I’m looking forward to working with them all again in 2020 with “The Kennedys – The Next Generation.”
