TARABORRELLI’S NEXT BOOK SUBJECT REVEALED!

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR J. RANDY TARABORRELLI TO WRITE A NEW BIOGRAPHY OF THE BUSH FAMILY

 THE BUSH DYNASTY

New York, NY — It’s been announced that New York Times bestselling author J. Randy Taraborrelli will publish a new book with St. Martin’s Press entitled THE BUSH DYNASTY, with a publication date to be announced. Vice President and Executive Editor Charles Spicer acquired World and Audio rights for St. Martin’s Press from Mitch Douglas, of Mitch Douglas Literary and Theatrical, Inc. In the book, begun before the recent passing of George H.W. Bush, Taraborrelli will give an unprecedented look at the remarkably influential Bush family, from Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush to the matriarchs, Barbara and Laura Bush and beyond.

Spicer notes, “J. Randy Taraborrelli is one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful biographers of our time. In THE BUSH DYNASTY, he plans to bring his innate ability to delve into the personalities behind the headlines to reveal the inner dynamics of the Bush family that has been in the public eye for decades and shaped American history. No family has so fascinated Americans since the Kennedys and, in THE BUSH DYNASTY, readers will get a behind the scenes look at what they are really like.”

As Taraborrelli will show through never-before-told stories, the Bush clan is as competitive, emotional, and volatile as any other high-powered family. This side was carefully guarded and kept from the public eye, however. Taraborrelli will focus on how George H.W. and Barbara raised their children—inspired in large part by George’s own upbringing—with values like honesty, personal responsibility, and persistence.

Like his bestsellers Jackie, Janet & Lee, and Jackie, Ethel, Joan and his forthcoming The Kennedy Heirs, THE BUSH DYNASTY will reveal new details about lives lived out of the spotlight and behind closed doors. Taraborrelli examines the life-long impact of the terrible loss of George and Barbara’s 3-year-old daughter Robin to cancer. He dives into the dynamics between a father and son who both occupied the White House. Taraborrelli also looks closely at Barbara Bush, a formidable matriarch who wielded enormous power within the family, and her often contentious relationship with daughter-in-law and fellow First Lady, Laura Bush. Taraborrelli looks to current events, exploring where Jeb’s political ambitions lie in the wake of his father’s death. There is much to learn about the inner workings of the Bush family. Taraborrelli will bring it to light as only he can.

J. Randy Taraborrelli is the author of nearly 20 biographies, most of which have become New York Times bestsellers, including: Call Her Miss RossSinatra—Behind the Legend, Madonna—An Intimate Biography, Jackie, Ethel, Joan—Women of Camelot, produced by NBC as a highly-rated miniseries in 2001,Elizabeth, (a biography of Elizabeth Taylor); The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe and After Camelot—A Personal History of the Kennedy Family 1968 to the Present, a 2017 TV miniseries starring Katie Holmes and Matthew Perry. His latest New York Times bestseller was Jackie, Janet & Lee, which is currently being developed for television by Tomorrow Studios.
